I am an observer, strategist, investor, and creative matchmaker for industry leaders, start-ups, policy makers, designers, and developers; guiding them through the intricacies of emerging technologies and the larger social and economic changes that shape them.
I work with clients and projects in many different domains - entrepreneurship, finance, media, technology, retail - and facilitate the sharing of ideas, experience, and knowledge that lead to innovative action and new collaborative projects.
I am a venture partner at Anthemis (a company investing in the world’s most promising financial startups) and a partner at MKS Alternative Investments (active in seed investment in Switzerland and internationally).
I am the founder of Lift, Switzerland’s first ideas conference on the subject of innovation, technology, and society.

Designed for decision makers, at the intersection of technology, culture, entrepreneurship and communication, 200·IDEAS welcomes speakers who curate the best ideas of their respective fields into comprehensive and actionable insights.
Historical archives are dormant, fragile physical systems. At Odoma, we believe that archives are also full of promises: a dense network of people and places, dates and objects, a rich source of untold stories and heritage knowledge. Our goal is to help organizations leverage their past into customised, searchable information system, using a set of unique technologies and expertises.
I work with organizations to help them adapt their strategies to the changes brought by digital innovation. I work on several levels:
- identification of current disruptive innovations, relevant to the client's business.
- development and implementation of innovation strategies
- knowledge sharing via publications and events.
Having overseen the preparation and delivery of hundreds of talks, I use this experience to work with conference curators as a speaker mentor. My tasks include:
- interacting with the speakers to prioritize and optimize their content
- providing speakers with confidence and reassurance
- refining of format depending on content depth and presentation skills
- flagging-up potential problems in advance of talk
Clients include Wired UK, TechnoArk, individual speakers.
I speak regularly at private and public conferences (Picnic, Leweb, TEDx, AdTech) and at various institutions (Société Générale, Groupama, UBS, Allianz, IMD, Mc Kinsey, Pictet, Unigestion, Havas, TA media, United Nations, University of Korea, HEC Lausanne, University of Geneva) on topics ranging from how to adapt to disruptive innovation to the impact of technologies on business and society.
I hosted a weekly talk show discussing the challenges of 21st century society. Recorded at World Radio Switzerland, this project was a learning experience and a chance to meet fascinating new people on a weekly basis. The show was discontinued after the first season for lack of time.
Founder of the Lift Conference, a series of events to inspire and connect pioneers around the world. Happening in different countries every year (Switzerland, France, Korea), each event explores the social implications of technologies. Past speakers include Tim Berners-Lee, Robert Scoble, Cory Doctorow, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, Vint Cerf and tons of amazing people.
After running the company for 6 years, I stepped down from all operational and editorial duties in April 2012 to spend more time at home with my newborn daughters.
I was part of the eBusiness team responsible for creating and developing the company's online presence that consists in an Intranet, a public website (www.pictet.com) and different eBanking applications. My responsibilities included managing IT projects, defining the bank's online strategy and resources allocation, analyzing and reporting on current online activities. I was also involved in the bank's main project (an ongoing core system replacement) as a member of the change management team.
Consultant on IT projects for various institutions. I have worked on solutions design and deployment, strategy definition and deployment, project management and change enablement. Clients include Pictet&Cie (largest Swiss private bankers in Geneva), Bearing Point (consulting, Geneva), Bread and Butter (Communication Agency, Lausanne) and various NGOs.
As a member of the team serving the French-speaking part of Switzerland, I worked for international corporations and organisations in both the private and public sector. I was involved - first as a consultant then as a senior consultant - in business processes analysis, design and implementation of large scale information systems, project management, change communication and enablement, definition of strategies for the integration of technologies in business activities.
I joined this former client as IT manager to finish a project that consisted in offering more than 100'000 references on the company's online store. I was project manager of the various applications (internet, intranet and extranet), also heavily involved in change enablement, users training, software and hardware deployment.
One of the partners of this Lausanne based startup (5 co-founders in april 1996, 13 people in march 1998) in charge of web related activities. I was responsible for client development, sales and projects management, working with a team of designers and developers to deliver state of the art web sites in the early days of the internet economy.
